Thyme, White (Thymus vulgaris)
    • Thyme oil is first steam distilled from the flowering tops and leaves of the plant resulting in a red thyme oil. Further redistillation produces the white thyme oil which is less irritating than the red. The white thyme has a milder, fresher, cleaner scent than the red.
