Juniper |
| (Juniperus communis) |
| Our juniper is harvested from the wild and delivers a fresh, woody, gin-like aromatic oil. Lower quality juniper oils will smell strongly of turpentine. Juniper is used in many simple preparations, such as a veterinary preventatives for ticks and fleas, but should not be underestimated as a choice for perfumery. It is used therapeutically for its reputed qualities of easing arthritis or rheumatic aches, and providing relief for edema and water-retention. A few drops in bath salts along with florals or citrus make a wonderful and relaxing treat for tired, aching muscles. DISCLAIMER: Purchase of this item affirms that customer accepts all responsibilty for proper and appropriate use of essential oils. For use in skin preparations only. Ingestion of essential oils is at the discretion of the individual and should be done only under the guidance of a fully qualified practitioner. |
