Citronella |
| (Cymbopogon nardus) |
| Grassy fresh, with a sweet woody-lemony aroma, this little jewel does not at all resemble the gaggingly fake fragrance used in mosquito-repelling candles. Rather, the oil we present to you is considered the finest obtainable origin and is one of the often-used ingredients in high-class perfumery. Where lesser versions are only good for insect repellent blends, ours offers more extensive use. It blends wonderfully well as a top note in Geranium and Cedarwood blends. Adds a crisp note when blended with other citrus oils such as lemon. For an oriental touch, try 3 parts Citronella and 2 parts Cedarwood.
